What Jabbok is, in plain terms

Jabbok is a Scripture reflection companion app, operated by AJE3 Entertainment, LLC. This policy explains what information Jabbok collects, why, who we share it with, and how you can access, correct, or delete it. Jabbok is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or professional crisis support — if you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

What Jabbok stores

Jabbok does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or photo library.

Why we process this information

We use your information to: operate and maintain the App; generate Jabbok's responses to you; recall context within and across your conversations; maintain beta stability and security; enforce our Terms of Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your conversation content to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.

Who processes your data on our behalf

We share information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the App:

Beyond these processors, we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jabbok, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.

How long we keep your data, and deleting it

We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to operate the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can permanently delete your account and associated data (profile, conversation history, and learned context) at any time from within the App, under profile settings. Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days; residual copies may briefly persist in encrypted backups until they are cycled out, and we may retain minimal records where required by law (for example, to demonstrate legal compliance). This action cannot be undone.

How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards consistent with Firebase's security model to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to us. If we become aware of a security incident that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Jabbok is an adults-only app

Jabbok is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. Jabbok is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete that information and terminate the associated account as promptly as reasonably possible. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below.

Access, deletion, and choice

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, request correction or deletion, and opt out of certain uses. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no separate "opt out of sale/sharing" action is generally needed.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, you have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, request deletion, request correction, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Nevada residents

Under Nevada law (NRS 603A), you have the right to submit a request directing us not to sell certain categories of your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hebron@hebronforyou.com from your account email. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Where your data is processed

Jabbok is operated from the United States and the beta is currently intended for users located in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Updates to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where practical, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification). Continued use of Jabbok after an update means you accept the revised policy.
